The hardest part of starting is not driving — you can already do that. It is learning where requests come from at which hour in your part of the Tricity, and getting comfortable with the app while a passenger is waiting. A few things that shorten that curve:
Go online from your own locality first. Familiar roads mean you are thinking about the ride, not the route.
Mid-morning is forgiving. Learn the accept, navigate, start, end sequence before you meet a rush.
The app shows the fare, our 5% commission and the GST on it. Seeing it a few times makes the economics concrete.
On cash rides you keep the money and our small share becomes in-app dues. Clear them regularly — past ₹600 you will be asked to settle before going online again.
GediGoo is a Tricity company with a local team and in-app support. A first-week question is a normal thing to ask.
You will see recruitment ads guaranteeing new drivers a monthly income. Treat every one of them as a warning sign. What you earn depends on your hours, your area and what your vehicle costs to run — none of which a stranger can know. GediGoo does not quote a guaranteed figure. What we do put in writing is the commission: 5% plus GST on it, shown on every trip.

Yes. GediGoo does not require previous app-cab or commercial driving experience. A valid driving licence, a vehicle with proper RC and insurance, and an Aadhaar or PAN for KYC are what verification checks.
No. Registration, document verification and resubmission are all free. Anyone asking a new driver for an activation or registration fee is not from GediGoo.
No. Once your documents are verified you can go online. The app walks you through accepting and completing a ride.
It happens to everyone. There is no acceptance-rate penalty on GediGoo, so you can decline a request you are unsure about, and in-app support is there when you need it.
Yes. There are no shift timings and no daily targets, so starting with a few hours a week is completely normal.
Not necessarily. You can drive your own vehicle, or one attached from an owner — see car attachment — or start on a two-wheeler with bike taxi, which needs far less capital.
