Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the GediGoo apps and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
GediGoo is a technology platform that connects riders with independent driver partners for transportation in the Tricity / Chandigarh region, India. GediGoo facilitates bookings; rides are provided by driver partners.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- You are responsible for your account, your login (OTP) security, and the accuracy of the information you provide.
- One account per person; accounts are non-transferable.
3. Rider responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details and be ready at the pickup point.
- Treat drivers and vehicles with respect; no unlawful, dangerous, or abusive behaviour.
- Pay the fare shown, including any applicable waiting or cancellation charges.
4. Driver partner terms
- Drivers must hold a valid licence, vehicle registration, and required permits, and keep them current.
- Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of GediGoo.
- Drivers must follow traffic laws and provide safe, courteous service.
5. Fares, payments & cancellations
- Fares are calculated from distance, time, and applicable rates, and shown before you confirm.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay; cash may be supported for some trips.
- Cancellation and waiting charges may apply as disclosed in the app at the time of booking.
6. Safety
The Service includes safety features such as in-ride SOS and trip sharing. In an emergency, always contact local authorities (dial 112) first.
7. Account suspension & deletion
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. You may request deletion of your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account in the app or by emailing support@gedigoo.com; see our Privacy Policy for what this involves.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, GediGoo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of independent driver partners or riders. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Chandigarh having jurisdiction.
