Put your car to work without handing over a share of it. GediGoo charges 5% of the fare and nothing else — no attachment fee, no deposit, no lock-in period.
Kharar · no attachment fee · no deposit · leave any time
In the Tricity, "car attachment" normally describes handing your vehicle to a travel operator who finds the work and keeps a share, or signing it to a fleet that rents it out with a driver. Both arrangements can work. Both also come with terms worth reading twice: a minimum period, a monthly guarantee that quietly depends on conditions, or a share that grows once the car is committed.
GediGoo is not a fleet operator and does not take custody of your car. You register the vehicle, you or your driver drives it, and our involvement in the money is a single line: 5% of each fare plus GST on that commission.
| GediGoo | Typical attachment offer | |
|---|---|---|
| Who holds the car | You do | Often the operator or fleet |
| Attachment / joining fee | ₹0 | Common |
| Security deposit | ₹0 | Common |
| Lock-in period | None — leave any time | Often 6–12 months |
| Cut of each fare | 5% + GST on it | Varies; frequently 20–30% |
| On a ₹300 fare you keep | ₹284 | ₹225 at 25% |
Kharar has grown faster than its cab supply. New societies and colleges have filled in along the highway while the number of cars working the area has not kept pace, so residents here are used to waiting for a ride. Cars attached in Kharar do fewer, longer trips. Fuel per trip is higher; wear from stop-start city traffic is lower.
Rides come from across the Chandigarh–Ludhiana highway, Desu Majra, Sunny Enclave and the New Chandigarh side — you go online from wherever the car is parked.
Free on Google Play. Sign up with the mobile number of whoever will drive the car.
RC and a valid insurance policy for that exact vehicle, plus the driver's licence and an Aadhaar or PAN.
Reviewed by hand at no charge. You are told in the app if anything needs redoing.
Take requests near you and keep about 95% of every fare the car earns.
Search for car attachment and every result promises a guaranteed monthly income. We are not going to add to that, because the honest answer is that it depends on how many hours the car runs, who drives it, and what it costs you in fuel and servicing. What is fixed and knowable is our share — 5% plus GST on it, shown on every trip in the app. Judge any attachment offer by whether it will tell you its number as plainly.
A minimum period is where most attachment regret comes from. Ours is none — you can stop at any time.
If someone else drives your car, be clear in writing about accidents, fines and maintenance before it happens.
Carrying passengers for a fare is commercial use. A private policy may not respond to a claim on a commercial trip.
A percentage said on the phone is not a percentage. Ours is published here and shown on every ride.
No attachment fee · no deposit · no lock-in · 5% commission.

With GediGoo you register the car yourself in the Driver app rather than handing it to an operator. Upload the RC, valid insurance, the driver's licence and an Aadhaar or PAN. Verification is free, and there is no attachment fee, deposit or lock-in.
No. GediGoo charges nothing to register a vehicle and holds no deposit. Our only deduction is 5% of each fare plus GST on that commission.
Yes, but the account and the documents must belong to the person actually driving — the licence uploaded has to be theirs. Agree the terms between you and your driver in writing before the car goes out.
None. You can stop taking rides whenever you like, and there is nothing to cancel or pay to leave.
A policy valid for the way the vehicle is actually used. Carrying passengers for a fare is commercial use, and a private policy may not cover a claim arising on a commercial trip — check with your insurer before you start.
We will not quote you a figure, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Earnings depend on hours driven, area and running cost. What is fixed is our share: 5% of the fare plus GST on that commission, disclosed on every trip.
